Here's a small, recent example of the drip castles I like to make at the shore. They are usually much larger, and attract small crowds of kids who help out. Many observers say they resemble Gaudi's work.I have been building them since I was a kid. They don't last quite as long as most software. It would be fun to try to mix up some plaster or something and make a longer-lasting castle.
Where did this design come from? Perhaps from the south shore of Long Island, where my father grew up? I have rarely seen the style attempted.
I should make an MPEG of a time lapse movie I made of the construction and eventual destruction of one of these.
